New York-based composers’ group Random Access Music presents its first program of the season entitled “Discreet Encounters,” Thursday, October 6, 7:30pm, at the Gershwin Hotel, Seven East 27th Street, Manhattan. The collage concert, arranged by Artistic Director Manly Romero into two 45-minute ‘panels’ emphasizing both stylistic diversity and aesthetic unity, includes new and recent works by Random Access Music member composers B. Allen Schulz, David Fetherolf, Manly Romero, Stefan Weisman, Wang Jie and Gilbert Galindo. Performers include pianist Amir Khosrowpour, soprano Maeve Hoglund, violinists Brendan Speltz and Joshua Modney.
